Chain words: each new word starts with the last letter of the word before it. Real words only, 3 letters or more.
Beat the clock: every word you play adds time, though a little less as your chain grows. When the clock runs out, the run ends.
Score big: longer and rarer words earn more points. Start a word with J, Q, X, or Z to double it.
No repeats: each word and its root can be used only once. Playing run also blocks running.
One a day: everyone gets the same starting word. Come back tomorrow for a new one.
Expert mode: finish today's run to unlock a second, harder run. Expert bans every word you've played this week, and the ban list clears each Monday.
